"We knew what we wanted, going in. Gary listened to us – everything just fell into place. It was painless. It was amazing how he came up with things that excited us. He said, “Have you liked many Territorial-style homes?”…He was able to mesh styles, which was really cool. The fact that green is important to Gary was extremely important to us; he helped us think of a lot of things that we would not have thought of, such as how the house would sit on the property, aesthetically as well as functionally…. I felt very educated through the process. He took the time to explain things to us and helped us to participate. He gave us a house that I think is uniquely designed, it’s beautiful, and it fits the landscape.”
